Glory Days Grill® Franchise Opens in North Carolina

Fairfax, VA — NOVEMBER 21, 2017 — Glory Days Grill, an award-winning sports grill and bar, is proud to announce the opening of a franchise restaurant in Apex, a suburb of Raleigh, North Carolina. The new restaurant opened its doors on Monday, November 20th, 2017, marking the company’s first franchise in the state of North Carolina. Anchoring the west end of Publix Pointe Shopping Center, the new location features 5440 square feet of dining room, bar and patio seating with an abundance of TVs broadcasting the latest sports, news and entertainment programming.

Like all Glory Days Grill restaurants, the Apex location will focus on product excellence with the highest standards in food quality and safety, a love of sports, and a dedication to the community. The Apex restaurant will provide fundraising programs for local schools and teams, and managers are currently accepting applications for team sponsorships for the spring of 2018.

Franchise Owner and Head Coach, Chris Holmes, is a 20-year resident of the Triangle area, welcomes local schools, students, teachers, athletes and families to join his team to celebrate their ‘glory days’ at his restaurant. “Although Glory Days Grill is new to the Raleigh area, we will be the cornerstone of the community,” says Holmes. “Come in and introduce yourself. Tell me your name. Bring the team in to celebrate, win or lose. That’s the kind of place this is… we want to get to know you and be a part of your lives.”

Glory Days Grill is looking to add qualified franchisees to help grow the brand throughout North Carolina in communities such as Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Durham, Asheville, Fayetteville, Hickory, Wilmington, Jacksonville, Greenville, Burlington, Rocky Mount and New Bern, among others. Candidates should have business experience, preferably in the restaurant industry; $750,000 in liquid assets and a minimum net worth of $1.5 million; and an initial investment of between $1.7 million and $2.5 million.

Opening its first restaurant on April 16, 1996 in Burke, VA, Glory Days Grill has grown to 28 company owned and franchised restaurants in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. The award-winning sports grill and bar plans to open another 4 locations by 2018.
