Fast-growing casual-dining chain hosts annual Vendor of the Year Awards

Fairfax, VA — Northern Virginia based Glory Days Grill, a national restaurant company, celebrated the efforts of three Northern Virginia companies at their 2004 Vendor of the Year Awards Dinner held at the Capital Grille in Tyson's Corner on Thursday, March 3, 2005. Each year, the company awards those vendors whose services have greatly contributed to the company's growth and success.

The 2004 winners were PalMar Construction, LLC of Sterling, VA, a primary general contractor for twelve Glory Days Grill restaurant sites and a repeat winner; Andrew Golkow, Esq. with the law offices of Rees, Broome & Diaz, P.C of Vienna, VA, for superior legal consulting services; and Digitec Solutions, Inc. of Fairfax , VA for outstanding technical and administrative product support. Digitec is a five-time winner. In keeping with the restaurant's sports-theme, the winning companies were awarded custom-designed baseball bats and a special display holder.

Says Bob Garner, co-founder of Glory Days Grill, "In our industry in particular, where we need to rely heavily upon other companies for our products, facility development and maintenance and management of internal infrastructure, finding vendor with skill and integrity is critical to successful day-to-day operations. The vendors awarded at our dinner go above and beyond providing us with service; they are our business partners. We experienced 75% growth in 2003 and are poised for explosive growth in the near future. These companies will help us get there."

Glory Days Grill is a sports-themed restaurant with sixteen locations in four states and is scheduled to open three additional locations during 2005. The concept has been recognized for a variety of charitable contributions and fundraising efforts that benefit local communities.
