Glory Days Grill® Celebrates 15 Glorious Years!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Friday, April 29, 2011

Fairfax, VA - On April 26, Glory Days Grill, a Baltimore/Washington based regional casual-dining restaurant chain operating 22 full-service restaurants in Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia, celebrated its 15 Year Anniversary at its flagship Burke, VA location.  Founded in 1996 at Fairfax, Virginia, Glory Days Grill of Burke was the first location to open for the locally owned chain. Jim Rafferty, the original Managing Partner of the Burke location since 1996, is setting records at the helm of the chain's busiest location.

As part of the festive celebration, all employees who worked at the Burke location for at least 3 years were honored for their service and awarded certificates of tenure as well as cash bonuses. Guests enjoyed 50 cent wings and raffle drawings all night. Stuffed animals were given to all children and every guest in attendance had a chance to spin the Glory Days Prize wheel, where everyone left a winner. On hand were the three founders, all company executives, the corporate support team and many of the original employees.

To commemorate the 15 year anniversary, Tuesday Nights for the remainder of the year have now been designated as Pint Night at every Glory Days Grill restaurant. Guests receive a special 15 year anniversary collector’s logo pint glass with the purchase of their first pint.  Guests can now purchase special limited-edition 15 year anniversary logo T-shirts. A new Sunday Brunch menu was unveiled to those in attendance. Each month the Glory Days Grill Facebook page features a special promotion named "Tell Us Your Glory Story". Facebook friends can enter their own personal "Glory Story" for a chance to win the $100 Glory Days Grill gift certificate monthly prize. The contest runs through 2011 with the Grand Prize Winner to receive a $500 Glory Days Grill gift card.
