Gaithersburg, MD — February 18, 2014 — Every year since 2000, Glory Days Grill identifies select ‘Vendors of the Year’ to recognize excellence in business partnerships.  In order to win this prestigious award, vendors must exceed expectations by going above and beyond the call of duty in a substantial fashion throughout the entire year.  

For the 14th consecutive year, Glory Days Grill has chosen vendors for their outstanding support and commitment demonstrated throughout the prior year.  The winning Vendors of the Year for 2013 are as follows: Digitec Solutions, Inc., Andrew Golkow of Rees Broome, PC, Peabody Press, and The Boston Beer Company. Recipients will be honored with a dinner and awards ceremony on March 26, 2014. 

Digitec Solutions, Inc:  A 14-time winner of this distinction, Digitec Solutions, Inc. (a member of the Support Functions, Inc. Group of Companies) is an extremely innovative company that has been a partner with Glory Days Grill since its inception in 1996.  Based in Fairfax, VA, Digitec Solutions, along with the other members of the Support Functions Group, provide Glory Days Grill with a variety of products and services ranging from uniforms to speaker boxes to plastic toys for kid’s drinks.  They also serve as Glory Days Grill’s IT Company, providing computer hardware, software and a variety of innovative technology solutions.  Digitec Solutions specializes in serving the needs of small and medium size companies and is the support function leg of several companies that act to create varied solutions to business and industry.

Andrew Golkow of Rees Broome, PC:  Andrew Golkow is a partner in the law firm of Rees Broome, PC, where he has practiced since 1987.  Andrew, who is an MBA/CPA as well as an attorney, has focused on representing closely-held businesses and their owners.  He has helped Glory Days Grill in matters such as negotiating leases, which are an essential part of Glory Days Grill’s growth and success, the Glory Days Grill corporate structure, employment law issues, and contracts.  Rees Broome became part of the Washington regional business community four decades ago and has grown to forty attorneys in four locations across the metro area, offering clients seasoned expertise in a dozen specialties from arbitration to zoning.  Rees Broome is now one of the oldest as well as one of the largest homegrown and locally-based law firms in Virginia and has had the honor of winning a number of "best lawyer" awards. The firm has been added to Martindale Hubble's national "Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers" after more than half its partners were named to peer review lists as "distinguished" or "preeminent" in their fields.

Peabody Press:  Located in Baltimore, MD, Peabody Press has proudly produced high-quality and affordable printing to a diverse client base for over 67 years. Their unwavering commitment to serve their client’s needs is a testament to their passion for quality craftsmanship. Peabody Press offers a range of services including digital, offset, label, and letterpress printing. From their humble beginnings in a Baltimore row home basement, this family-run business has evolved into a thriving business with state-of-the-art equipment in their 33,000 square-foot facility. Glory Days Grill has partnered with Peabody Press for nearly a decade in the printing and production of their Dine In Menus and Drink Menus, among other projects. Most recently, Peabody Press aided in the redesign and selection of new materials for Glory Days’ Dine In Menu and their expanded Drink Menu, both of which have enhanced the overall dining experience for their guests.

The Boston Beer Company: In 2013, the Boston Beer Company was once again one of our best business partners, earning this award for a 2nd time.  By focusing on team member education and creative sales incentives, the 20 locally based restaurants were able to create programs that were mutually beneficial and continued to help establish Glory Days Grill as a destination for great beer within the growing craft beer segment.
