GLORY DAYS GRILL EXPANDS FLORIDA OPERATIONS
Fast-growing casual-dining chain opens second location in South Florida.
Boynton Beach, FL - (Monday, May 19, 2003) - Glory Days Grill, a national restaurant company originating in the Mid-Atlantic, is bringing its American grill and bar to the Royal Palm/Wellington area. The company secured space in the Crestwood Square Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Southern Boulevard and Crestwood Boulevard, and opened to the public on May 5, 2003.
Royal Palm represents the second Florida location for Glory Days Grill, which launched its South Florida operations in Boynton Beach in December 2002. Says co-founder and president of Glory Days, Inc., Jeff Newman, “Our Boynton location opened strong, and we are excited to bring our concept of great food and good sports to Royal Palm.” Both locations are open seven days a week, serving lunch Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There is comfortable seating for 209 guests, including a private party room that accommodates a party of 24.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of freshly prepared foods, including zesty BBQ baby back ribs, hand-cut steaks, grilled marinated chicken, pastas, fresh grilled seafood and generous portions of made-to-order salads. Glory Days Grill in Royal Palm will feature 30 televisions tuned to the latest sporting, news and entertainment networks, and guests will enjoy the authentic sports memorabilia displayed throughout the restaurant, including many items donated by local teams and schools. Its full-service bar will offer an entire complement of beer, wine, mixed drinks and non-alcoholic beverages, including the famous 2-litre Growler. With its unique specialty drinks for children and a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere, Glory Days Grill appeals to families and people of all age groups and interests. This combination of high quality food, spirits and fun has contributed to the company’s rapid growth.
Royal Palm is the 14th location for the company, whose concept launched in 1996 in Burke, Virginia.
